Other Ways to Save on E-Bikes

1. Federal E-BIKE Act (Proposed)

Up to $1,500 tax credit (30% of purchase)

This federal tax credit has been proposed but not yet passed. If approved, it would provide a 30% refundable tax credit (max $1,500) for e-bikes under $8,000. Check back for updates on this legislation.

2. Corporate/Employer Programs

Ask your employer about bike-to-work incentives

Many companies offer commuter benefits, bike purchase programs, or subsidies for employees who bike to work. Check with your HR department.

3. PST Exemption

No PST on e-bikes in BC

Since 2021, e-bikes are exempt from BC's Provincial Sales Tax (PST), saving you 7% on your purchase. This applies automatically at checkout.

4. Seasonal Sales & Promotions

Watch for holiday sales and clearance events

E-bike retailers often have sales during Black Friday, end-of-season, and holiday periods. Sign up for newsletters to get notified of deals.
